Driving Theory Test

Case Study Questions for the theory test.

Here is an example "case study" with two example questions.

You're planning to visit a relative who has moved into a new house.

You've been to the town where they live before so you're pretty sure of the way there. You have your mobile phone with you. Unfortunately there is a diversion and you are not sure if you are going in the right direction.

1. If you decide you are going the wrong way and want to turn round you should:

(a) Use your hazard lights if you're manoeuvre involves reversing

(b) Make sure you don't use reverse gear

(c) Make sure you look out of the rear window when reversing

(d) Signal right throughout the manoeuvre

2. If you decide to use your mobile phone to ring your relatives for directions it is best to

(a) Use a hands free

(b) Text rather than talk on the phone

(c) Only phone when the road is clear

(d) Find a safe place to stop before you make a phone call
